About The Canmore Highland Games
Canmore Highland Games was established in 1991 by the Three Sisters Scottish Festival Society to present and celebrate Celtic culture create a destination/entertainment event. It quickly became one of the signature summer events of Canmore. Annual attendance averages 5,000.
Celtic Vendors, Clan tents, and Non-profit groups
Market Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
We have up to 35 booths including Scottish and Celtic retail booths, clan booths offering name and origin information, and non-profit booths related to Scottish culture.
These retailers come from across the country to participate in our Games and offer a wide array of specialized Celtic products, from piping and drumming supplies and highland dress to art, jewellery, gifts, novelties, food and toys.
Taste of the Highlands
Saturday, September 2, 2017, 5 to 9 pm
Enjoy an evening of wine, scotch, beer and food tasting at the Big Rock festival tent. Sample over 90 local and international wines and scotches from some of the world’s most celebrated producers including micro-breweries!
The Highland Games
Sunday, September 3, 2017, 8 am to 6 pm
Join us for a full slate of events comprising the Highland Games – pancake breakfast, highland dancing, piping and drumming, heavy sports, tug of war, sheep dogs, clan tents, Celtic vendors, Scotch tasting, traditional food and beverages, food trucks, beer garden, massed bands and more.

Our evening Ceilidh is a spirited celebration of music and dance, kitchen-party fashion. Live Celtic music and a variety of other Celtic acts for your entertainment all evening long.
