Hike up sunfilled canyons and ridges still frequented by wildlife. See the boil springs at Bow Valley Provincial Park where the orchids and hummingbirds thrive. Witness the spring and fall migrations of golden eagles overhead. Bow Valley Provincial Park is less than an hours drive west of Calgary and only 30 minutes from Banff. Close enough to the events and entertainment that Calgary has to offer as a day trip and yet still removed enough to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of the Canadian Rocky Mountain wilderness.
