Friday
Check in to your resort, settle in, and put your feet up! Stroll down to main street and enjoy an apertivo at Mountain Mercato. $7 glasses of wine and half-price appetizer platters on Friday and Saturday from 4pm-9pm.
Good Earth Cafe – Live Music After dinner, enjoy to some live music performances and a cappuccino at Good Earth Cafe.
Saturday
Breakfast at Harvest A local favourite! Enjoy a coffee or latte while your breakfast wrap or sandwich is made fresh! Get there early if you want to sample one of their renowned cinnamon buns (before they run out).
Grassi Lakes Hike
Start your day (and work off that breakfast) with a moderate hike up to Grassi Lakes. Grassi Lakes is a moderate hike with stunning views of Canmore, a waterfall, and two emerald-green lakes. Go Caving
Open year round, Canmore Cave Tours will take you for a natural history tour of the Rat’s Nest Cave, under Grotto Mountain. Tour the 4km cave created by the meltwaters of ancient glaciers.

The Grizzly Paw is Canmore’s local brewery and pub. Opened in 1996, “The Paw” is a popular local hang-out and famous for it’s unique microbrews and handcrafted sodas. Try the Powder Hound Pilser or the Rutting Elk Red. If you can’t decide on a single brew, try their sampler. Don’t forget to grab a 6-pack of your favourite to bring home!

Walk off lunch and discover Canmore’s unique and eclectic collection of galleries and shops. Far from ordinary, most of Canmore’s shops are unique to the area, and are owned and operated by friendly locals.
Bow River Loop Walk
Downtown Canmore is bordered by the Bow River. The river is an emerald-green, fast-paced river with stunning views of Mount Rundle, an old railroad bridge, and the famous Three Sisters Mountain Range. The main loop only takes 25 minutes, but can be extended if you choose!

If you’re looking for dinner before you hit the road, stop in at Tapas, a spanish-inspired restaurant tucked-away in a character house near Main Street. Voted “Most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies.”
