Canmore is located on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies, 88 kilometres (55 miles) west of Calgary, Alberta.

Calgary to Canmore: The drive from Calgary’s western city limit takes 1 hour via the Trans Canada Highway #1. The drive from Calgary International Airport takes 1.5 hours.

From Canmore: Driving time to Banff town site is 20 minutes (23 kilometres/14 miles) west on Highway #1. Driving time to Lake Louise is 1 hour (83 kilometres/52 miles) west via Highway #1. For a leisurely, more scenic route to Lake Louise, follow Highway #1 to the #1A Bow Valley Parkway exit 8 kilometres (5 miles) west of Banff.

Airport Shuttles:
