The Banff Education Centre provides high quality English language programs in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Located in the small town of Canmore, BEC offers students a chance to experience the day to day life of a unique multicultural mountain town. BEC is conveniently located on the town centre of Canmore. Students are able to enjoy a wide variety of shops, restaurants, galleries and museums only a minute's walk from their classroom. BEC instructors design English programs so that each student learns the English skills that will be most useful in his or her life.

BEC asks each student to complete both a written and oral evaluation. These evaluations help our instructors establish each student's language ability as well as helping us to understand their reasons for studying English. Our instructors can then use this information to prepare lesson that best suit the needs of each student. Instructors also meet with students on a regular basis to discuss learning goals and progress in class.

Our experienced staff is also available to answer questions about Canmore, Banff and the Canadian Rockies. BEC advises students on travel, employment, accommodation, and other services in the Canmore and Banff areas.
