We love rivers. All kinds of rivers. And
each section of river we run has its own personality, its own rhythm,
and its own set of rewards. With three major river drainages and four
distinctive trips, we're certain we can introduce you to a river you can
learn to love.
At Canadian Rockies Rafting , the safety and enjoyment of our guests is
paramount. We know our guests arrive with a unique set of needs,
desires, and experiences. We work hard to ensure that we meet each and
every one of your expectations. We want you to enjoy the rivers we run
as much as we do.
We run the same stretches of river as other rafting companies but that
is where the similarities end. We run ALL of the rivers that are offered
in the area. Our equipment is the finest on the river. We
use 100% self
bailing rafts that we ensure are built to our specifications for the
rivers we run. Our staff members are friendly, experienced and willing
to answer your questions and concerns. We
offer opportunities to waterfight, cliff jumps, short hikes and body surfing that no other
company offers. Our customer service level is second to none.
Canadian Rockies Rafting Company takes pride in its reputation as one of
the world's leading outfitters. We suggest you contact our staff to get
full details of all the tours in person. They will gladly assist with
making the right choices, honestly and correctly. If the staff do not
have all the answers, they will get a river manager or the owners to
talk with you personally. Also ask around, local information centres and
other companies will gladly recommend.
There is an element of risk to any outdoor adventure activity. At CRR we
have a trip for all abilities. Our guides have been thoroughly trained
and have first aid and river rescue certification. If you have concerns
you should follow these steps: 1. Review each tour thoroughly and decide
what level of risk is comfortable to you and your group. 2. Ask our
sales staff to clarify any questions you may have regarding each trip.
3. Talk to the trip leader or river manager at the river. Ensure you are
comfortable with your decision and we at CRR will gladly assist in
helping make the right choices. CRR has an impeccable safety record.
CRR provides all river wear from your feet to the head. However, weather
conditions vary greatly
from month to month and river attire varies
accordingly. Just before leaving try to review a weather forecast and
especially temperatures. If it looks cool, bring a fleece or wool
sweater (NO COTTON) that can get wet. Whitewater Rafting: wear a bathing
suit or shorts to the river and have an extra layer to go over your
upper body available. Float trips dress comfortably according to the
weather. Bring a rain coat if it looks like rain and a warm sweater. You
can bring a small pack on the raft.
We will not get wet.
