Cantrav Leisure Services is committed to being the recognized leader in
the marketing, management and flawless on-site delivery of tourism
services in Alaska, Western Canada, and the Pacific Northwest. Focused
on specific, identified Travel Agency groups and organizations, Cantrav
Leisure Services delivers a broad spectrum of live on-line tourism
products. These products and services include package vacations, shore
excursions, receptive services and lifestyle experiences in the
destinations we serve.
Founded in 1982, Cantrav West began as ground logistics services for
group and incentive travel in the Pacific Northwest to include
Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle. Four years later, by the time of the
World’s Fair in Vancouver in 1986, Cantrav West had established itself
as the operator of choice for inbound groups attending the Calgary
Stampede, cruising to Alaska, visiting Vancouver or Victoria, or heading
to Whistler Resort for ski programs.
In the nineties, and with the century coming to a fast close, the
company had developed laterally to incorporate a strong Sales force
backed up by a quality-driven Operations team. Cantrav West operated
more than 120 programs per year ranging in size from 10 to 2,500
persons, becoming the largest DMC in Western Canada. In 1995, the
Rockies office was opened to service those requests for Banff, Lake
Louise and Calgary.
Today, over twenty years after its foundation, we have become the
premier destination logistics provider in Western Canada.
With a strong focus on the travel market, our seasoned team produces
award-winning programs and productions which deliver beyond client
expectations. In fact, Cantrav has won the “The Best Conference and
Incentive Organizer Award ” six times, and the coveted “Best Corporate
Event & Production” from Special Events Magazine.
Cantrav West operates with thirty full-time employees and up to forty
additional Program Staff during peak season. We operate offices in
Whistler, Vancouver, Banff and Alaska.
