Tourism Canmore is an action oriented Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), accepted and respected in travel and tourism circles provincially, nationally and internationally.

Even if you don’t need much help with marketing, we would value your input on tourism issues. We are always looking to increase member participation in our committees and activities.

In the past three years our marketing efforts have succeeded in raising Canmore’s profile within Alberta and internationally, resulting in a greater flow of tourists and their dollars to our community and to the Rockies as a whole.

Membership is $350 base per year. Tourism Canmore depends on our membership fees to fund our marketing efforts, from visitor information services to trade show attendance and print advertising campaigns.

One of the many benefits of membership is our visitor information services – we answer thousands of visitor phone calls every year. This is an ideal opportunity to promote our members’ services and properties – when I send out information packages I typically send a Canmore Visitors’ Guide, a lure brochure, any specific information the visitor has asked for, and then about 6 other member brochures (depending on what brochures I have in the office). You will also receive a free listing on www.TourismCanmore.com, as well as a link to your own website.
